Difference between Memobird and Cubinote

Difference between Memobird and Cubinote

I have a Memobird G2. When going to the mymemobird.com site it now reroutes to the Cubinote, which looks identical. 
  1. What are the differences between the Memobird G2 and the Cubinote G2, given they look identical except for the "cubinote" brand in place of "MEMOBIRD"?
  2. Does the Cubinote mobile app work on the Memobird, as the Memobird app appears to be gone from Apple's mobile app store?
  3. Is there a firmware update for the Memobird G2? Current version indicates v0.8 as Latest Version.
